This winter has been fairly mild for Michigan and its making shooting outside quite lovely. Alina + Bryan loved the idea of an outdoor session and prayed for good weather. The fields at Farmington Heritage park lent them selves perfectly for the theme of the engagement these two wished for. I had them relax in a few fields during the session moving along to different spots following the sunlight. It did get a bit chilly towards the late afternoon but these two were fabulous troopers and went with it. I think they came out great and I know Alina + Bryan  are ready for their peek. Here ya go, enjoy!

My favorite thing about the holidays has got to be the lights! I love the candle lit service on Christmas eve. It makes Christmas real. It reminds me that there was a light given to this world to change it for the better. A light we each hold in our own hands and have the ability to either use it or extinguish it. We use lights to celebrate big moments in our lives, to remember the past, and to wish hope for the future. I hope the light in each of us shines brightly this upcoming new year. Go out and serve your world, be the better version of yourself, embrace the light you were given and offer hope to those fading! We make new years resolutions in the hope of change for the better, this is my resolution for 2012! Will you join in?

As a very unique day today 11.11.11 I wanted to celebrate with a family who’s been on here more than any other. The Pusta family! Here ya go momma, I know you’ve been waiting for the peek.

My favorite model, undeniable makeup guru, and best of friends Liz joined me in a bit of try out the lights and hang out with your photographer friend day. Our goal today was to test out some new lights I’ve recently purchased and also get some fun shots of me done for the site! :) Plus as an added bonus Liz was kind enough to be my model for some new looks I’m testing. I love the matchbook girl look and she embodies it to a T! We not only got some work done but enjoyed ourselves silly doing it. Liz, thanks a million for always being superb with lending a hand in all my crazy schemes. You are the best make-up applier/model/friend who’ll pick up my camera and learn it on the fly cuz I ask, kind of person I know! Love ya!

Detroit Family Sessions are amazing! I’m loving the urban chic we got to play with for the Pusta Fam. They looked fabulous and the city was a great backdrop for them.

Birmingham will never smile as much as when this group was all together.

I’ve known this family for a very long time now. 2 seniors later and 2 still to go we finally got to meet to do a family session. They not only love to have fun but they are one of the most giving and loving family ever! I hope you enjoy this peek. Thank you for such a great time Balint Family!

What a perfect day to spend outside with an amazingly fun family! Amanda, Terry, Colt and Cameron joined me at the beautiful Van Hoosen Farms this Saturday afternoon and we basked in the sun! This autumn is quickly flying by and I love having a chance to capture it while its still here! I had a great time meeting and enjoying this family being together! Hope you all had as much fun as I did!

Love,

Elle

A quick peek at the cute couple who got married this Saturday. It was windy but the sun was glorious and the colors of fall are never at fail here in MI. Evelina and Dan were great and gave 2 hours of their day for photos of just them two! I love that. We got to do quite a bit of stuff because of that time frame. We visited some sites from their engagement session and continued on some new ones too. God Bless you guys in a beautiful future together! I can’t wait to come over for dinner after all those toasts I heard on Dan’s cooking. :)
