These two gorgeous people got hitched yesterday.  Enjoy the peek. Congratulations and Many Blessings to you!

A quick peek at the cute couple who got married this Saturday. It was windy but the sun was glorious and the colors of fall are never at fail here in MI. Evelina and Dan were great and gave 2 hours of their day for photos of just them two! I love that. We got to do quite a bit of stuff because of that time frame. We visited some sites from their engagement session and continued on some new ones too. God Bless you guys in a beautiful future together! I can’t wait to come over for dinner after all those toasts I heard on Dan’s cooking. :)

Well, I’ll answer you that with a glimpse of this photograph from yesterday! Yes that’s the Detroit skyline getting grazed just right by the setting sun. It was quite a memorable experience. Cristina + Teo loved this shot, so its getting first dibs on the blog! The rest of their after session is Detroit Love! We hit up everything from grimy, dirty, back alleys, full of brick and awesomeness to fun warehouses that we should all play in. More to come from these two soon.

These two just celebrated their 1 yr aniversary and I figured its time to finally blog their full wedding. Yeah, yeah I’m behind on Wedding blogging but in my defense I feel actually delivering the product to my clients is more important than up-keeping my blog. I might get slaughtered by fellow photographers on this but that’s my fail and I live up to it. I’ve been trying with my session peeks to keep consistent and have been a bit more successful but I’m going to get my blogging gears oiled up and finally committed to posting some full weddings. I’ve been blessed with such wonderful clients who put their amazing personalities into their wedding decor. I am always awed when their details are so right on to who they are as a couple and really reflect their coolness. Cuz lets face it my clients are pretty cool. I’d sport all of them as friends and that’s no lie.
Now back to who the blog is about: Antonia + Brandon! The pictures should tell the story but a bit of behind the scenes info for you: I’ve known Antonia since her brother Val married one of my great friends Andreea. She is such an easy going person that its easy to spend hours with her and feel like time passes too fast. She’s also a style guru, urban chic is her thing and I love seeing her outfits. So when it came to her wedding I knew she was gonna blow me away, plus she had Andreea which is decor queen, her super stylish mom and sisters helping her with every move. I was definitely not let down. 40′s Vintage + Music were the theme and I was in heaven. Brandon being the most chilled groom I’ve ever met looked oh-so-dapper in his coat-tails.

While the toasts were top notch the interpretative dance by Brandon’s youth paster  is one of my favorite to date! I think it should be a new trend, toasts by dance or song! :)

i carry your heart with me ( i carry it in my heart)

i am never without it ( anywhere i go you go, my dear: and whatever is done by only me is your doing my darling)

i fear no fate ( for you are my fate, my sweet)

i want no world ( for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that’s keeping the starts apart

i carry your heart ( i carry it in my heart)

So now that I’m finally back on track with blogging I figure I start with a pretty june wedding that happened in Ann Arbor. Yellow and grey was the color scheme and I love yellow and grey so I was so excited to capture the hotness. Debora’s dress was so modern and different and she looked stunning in it! Johnny fitted her perfectly with his sharp suit and of course the very awesome yellow skinny tie! Seriously, loved the styling for this wedding. Can you tell?

We started out at the brides house while she was getting ready for her groom to come! Then we headed out to the Law Quad and North Campus for some bridal party shots. Deborah + Johnny wanted a good mix of modern and vintage, Ann Arbor is great for this look. The ceremony was held at Grace Romanian Church and was Skyped to Europe for family and friends who couldn’t make it! Talk about modern times, Skyped I said! The ceremony and reception was hooked up with some great floral styles by the ever lovely Flowers by Nelly! The lemons were a definite win for me! The band featured is part family and friends of the bride and groom and they rocked out! A major thank you to Susan Ashe who was my 2nd and the absolute best!  All and all a great day to see love happen!

This one is coming up online quick, since so many of you asked for the rest of the magic. Esti + Bobby are a dream to work with and when it was time for their After session we headed to the Historic Henry Ford Museum.  Also, a  place you might remember from their Engagement Session, the Detroit Public Library! They wanted a black and white classic feel and I’m so glad they did because I’m in love! We played with a Great Gatsby feel in the museum and they hit the mark on everything. The library was almost like a secret tryst of sorts, especially when we were hiding from the patrons that were trying to read. After sessions can be so creative if you have the right people to work with, and boy oh boy did I get lucky in that department!

The first look at the first wedding of this year! I’ve fallen absolutely in love with these two and so will you! A great merger of laughter and love. What else is there?

As today is the international recognized day of LOVE I thought it would be awesome to showcase some love moments I’ve been privy to this past year! I’m making it one minute past midnight. It still counts. :)

Way back in April of this year the wedding of two amazing people and friends took place! Its been awhile coming but I finally have a chance to blog it and present it to the internet world! I will have so much to tell for their story that I think I’ll be breaking this up into two parts.

I have to admit the best part about their wedding was the fact that I got to laugh a lot +1! My kind of bride and groom includes a ton of laughter and true enjoyment of a wedding day!

Dana & Andrei have a spark when they are near each other and everyone around them catches on fire. They are both easy going and fun to hang around. Their style is a bit funky and classic which is awesome to blend together for a final Dana & Andrei look. A few April showers were present but nothing that an umbrella for a few minutes couldn’t fix. I loved that they did all their bridal party and bride and groom shots before the ceremony. It just gave such a great flow to the day.

With out further ado the first wedding on the blog this year!
