One of my favorite types of portraiture to shoot always has been High School seniors. They are all about having fun, they love going to new places and having an adventure while shooting! This year I had some amazing seniors as clients. Nicky was shot way back at the end of summer! She’s a beautiful girl coming all the way from Saline and I loved hanging out with her and the gang (her sisters and mom)! Have a great Senior year my dear! All the best wishes for your future.

This summer I had the opportunity to meet-up and hang out with some pretty special people, the murza fam! We took a walk around the Royal Oak studio to get some fun shots of a very fun family! It was a blast to play with the colors they chose to wear! I love when people come in with bright colors, it makes me smile on the inside and out.  The “poster of many faces” is my new love and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did shooting!

Jenny is a friend, a person whom I love and have watched grow from a kid to a young lady. This a just a peek at how beautiful she has become! Watch for the rest soon.

Saw this cool little video on my friend Damaris’ blog. It was so great I had to share. As a constant learner of PSD I love this.

Love, love, love this e-session. It promoted a whole new feel in my photography. I played with flash, with an organic feel and just plain got to have fun with some amazing people and in an awesome place.

Bobby and I go way back to our young years in sunday school! We’ve known each other through church band, mission trips, youth days, and now to our college and adult days! He is a person of great integrity and amazing character. He cracks me up consistently and if you know me that’s a good way to be on my “UR AWESOME” list! He then met Esti! This girl is perfect for him. She is absolutely beautiful and I claim her as a personal feature model as soon as she moves to MI. She is pretty funny herself and loves to laugh (my kind of person), plus to make it all shine, she’s super nice too! Together they just have a ton of fun and totally enjoy each others company!

We decided on a fun Urban session in Downtown detroit. I love the “D” and love ppl who love to explore new places in such a great city! Can you tell there’s a lot of LOVE from me to this city?

Special thanks goes out to my assistant Eddie, who held my lights and bags and who was ready to use the “pimp stick” if something went down!

This is a long one so enjoy!

This sunday was unusually warm and sunny for a november day! The few days before were cloudy and chilly to point out what Michigan fall weather usually averages. I got to spend the morning with some of my favorite people “the Pusta” Gang! They always crack me up and the kids just get cuter. The session was shortly held in the studio and then moved on to the park down the street for the real craziness to begin! There’s just something about kids in a park that makes me smile with the memories, parents running and screaming while kids run the other way, giggling. Good stuff!

Some fun from this summer spent all over Royal Oak! I love when clients are cool with my ideas such as hanging out in parking lots up top on the awesome floor. :) Meeting me at a few hours before sunset to capture some love makes me even happier! They did all and more!

My long time friends and clients Andreea + Val joined me on Saturday at Yates Cider Mill in Rochester for some fun in the sun! Yates is an awesome place to go to really feel the fall season in all its splendor here in MI. The cider is great, the donuts are delicious, and they have a petting zoo! How can you not like a place with a petting zoo? My fav though is the walking trail, right by the water, under the sun and some massive trees, with beautiful views every which way. We picked sunset as its the best light to shoot in outdoors this time of year! It was a bit chilly but looking at their smiling faces they made me feel like I was celebrating fall in California not Michigan! They impress me more and more each year with their hottness! I present to you my friends:

This weekend was just beautiful in Michigan and we took full advantage with many fall sessions booked. The sessions today I finished off with some beautiful sunset portraits in a dream field. I love outdoor photography where I get to mix people and nature. I adore the sun kissed look we achieved by shooting at the right time in the right light! This was a dream session, thanks to Pricilla who indulged me by being a model for some amazing shots! This is what I get to do and I love it! Moments like these are why my job is just so cool!

More sessions to be uploaded from all the summer sessions passed! Plus a ton of love stories just waiting to be told!

I have to say, I’ve missed you all so very dearly! This technical transition has not been an easy one, but I would love to thank you all for being patient and only asking once a month of what’s going on! :) The sites are officially up and working, I will be updating with more current work in the upcoming month and also adding some cool pages with info and pricing on products right in the website mainframe.

The blog is finally blogging, and boy do I have to blog! I feel like my fingers are itching to show the new stuff that’s been on my plate, because its AWESOME! The blog is not 100% fixed or done with where I want it to be, but it will do perfectly for now. So changes are inevitable while I continue with the tweaking.  I love feeling the work finished and off my check-list ! Facebook has been great to keep everyone in the loop and want to give a shout out to all those who have faithfully kept in touch through it. Keep coming back and I will consistently do my best to give more and more visual art into your lives as well as placing what inspires me to do better and hopefully will inspire you as well!

Lots of love and God Bless!
